April 11th, 2026 Match Results

Our last match of the season turned into a challenging one, with winds, light rain and a little hail!  Wind gusts throughout the day kept things interesting and the scores changed every minute as each stage was completed.  This match finalized a couple of tight scores for our season winners which added even more pressure to do well.  We had 51 competitors show up to close out the season.

When the wind settled, Carey Palmer found himself on top of the stack!  Carey earned first place overall and first place in Old Guns with a score of 752.596.  Owen Fjeldsted was a couple impacts behind Carey with 680.473, enough for that 2nd place silver tag.    Larry Mathis pulls 3rd place bronze with 620.142 points.  All 3 are in the top 10 overall at 1st, 4th and 7th respectively.  Amazing job OG’s!!!

Stephanie Baxter continues to bring the heat and today was no different.  Stephanie finishes only 1 impact behind Carey for 2nd Overall and 1st place in the ladies Division.  Stepanie earned 743.545 points and took gold.  Kaylyn Kingston was trying to hold on, but the wind got the better of her and she settles for 8th overall and 2nd place silver with 612.334 points.  Kimberly Garrett brings home 3rd place bronze with 490.2 points.

Tied for that 2nd place overall position, but just a couple seconds short is Adam Payton who takes first place gold in the Open Division.  Adam scored 741.143 points, barely behind Stephanie.  A couple impacts behind is Carson Zenger who scores 672.361 points for that 2nd place silver.  Shan Garrett takes home 3rd place bronze with 653.37, just 2 impacts behind Carson.

We had an amazing turn out of Air Rifles today and Dusty Powers shows how it is done by taking 1st place in the Air Rifle Division with 603.529 points.  Mike Kofoed steps up to that 2nd place podium spot with 520.913 points and Troy Fuit takes home bronze with 520.887 points.  Great shooting in some very challenging conditions.

Jason Norwood takes his position on the main podium for 1st place gold in the Base Division with an amazing 601.81 points.  The 2nd place silver spot is filled with Avery Cook and his 400.00 points, followed by Stetson Sadler, just two impacts behind Avery with 380.0 points for bronze.

Semi-Auto Division was keeping it close, with the top 3 positions only separated by 3 impacts!  When the dust settled, Colton Kalmar found gold with 580.00 points.  Two impacts behind him is Chris Baxter who takes home silver.  Chris scored 564.13 points.  1 impact behind Chris is William Pendleton for Bronze with 553.38 points.  That’s some close shooting!

Our 2 Young Guns also battled the gusty winds and kept it close all day, changing positions after every stage.  When the last round was sent, Macrae Kalmar found one more impact over Anthony Pendleton.  Macrae earned 390.00 points for gold.  Anthony earned 380.0 points for silver.

This is the final match for the 2025-2026 season.  As I look back on the year, I am truly blessed to have so many of you help and support our club.  I also want to thank Carey and Owen for stepping up this weekend as MDs for the match as I was out of town.  The help we get from all of you is amazing, from stepping up when needed to setting up and tearing down after the match is over.  Thank you everyone for all you do and all your help.  It is sincerely appreciated.  Next month will be our season finale awards and the kickoff of the first match of the 2026-2027 season.  Hope to see you all there.
