What a season! 2025-2026 ends and 2026-2027 begins! We had an amazing day with 53 shooters kicking off the new season. The weather was perfect in the upper 70’s, with a light breeze and loads of fun! After the COF was run, we all sat around having amazing burgers and hot dogs provided by Premier Catering services. After we cleared the lanes, we set up for our Discovery Optics sponsored Drag Race! Loads of fun!
Our season winners took home trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places:
Open Division:
Casey Hughes 1st, Adam Payton 2nd, James Young 3rd
Air Rifle Division:
Jason Essington 1st, Troy Fuit 2nd, Mike Kofoed 3rd
Ladies Division:
Stephanie Baxter 1st, Kaylyn Kingston 2nd, Kim Garrett 3rd
Old Guns Division:
Owen Fjeldsted 1st, Carey Palmer 2nd, Larry Mathis 3rd.
Base Division:
Kevin King 1st, Jason Norwood 2nd, David Wong 3rd
Young Guns Division:
Hudson Hughes 1st, Anthony Pendleton 2nd, Kelden Kingston 3rd
Semi Auto Division:
Colton Kalmar 1st, James Bywater 2nd, William Pendleton

For the match today, we ran 10 stages, and it was a close one in all divisions! Kaylyn Kingston took the spotlight, top honors and 1st overall by only dropping 1 shot. Kaylyn scored 532.65 for 1st in Ladies Division. Stephanie Baxter earned 2nd and Yuki Civello took home 3rd.
Casey Hughes scored 514.03, just 2 shots behind Kaylyn for 2nd overall and 1st in Open Division. Riley Green was only 1 shot behind Casey for 2nd place silver and David Civello dropped 2 more to get 3rd place bronze.
Owen Fjeldsted takes top podium spot for Old Guns with 471.10. Carey Palmer tied Owen but lost on the tie breaker with 470.89 for 2nd. Yup, that’s only .21 seconds behind. Larry Mathis gets 3rd place bronze.
Mike Kofoed takes 1st in Air Rifle with 384.222 points. Troy Fuit takes home 2nd place Air and Jason Essington 1 shot behind him takes home 3rd place bronze.
Jeff Lambert gets 1st place gold in Base Division. David Wong pulls 2nd, and Stetson Sadler takes home 3rd place bronze.
William Pendleton scored 331.886 for 1st place in the Semi-Auto Division, 2 shots ahead of Ron Giovo who gets 2nd place silver. 3rd goes to Kevin Arthur.
Hudson Hughes continues his dominance in the Young Guns Division with 362.068 points. Anthony Pendleton takes home 2nd place silver and Macrae Kalmar gets 3rd.
Our Drag Race was won by Colton Kalmar who took home the Discoveryopt USA 6×24 optic.
