Fall weather was giving us its all this Saturday with temperatures in the mid 70’s, light cool breeze and plenty of sunshine for an amazing match. 51 Shooters took advantage of the perfect weather to send some lead down range and hit some steel. We had shooters in every division, 1 Adaptive, 7 Air Rifle, 5 each in Base and Ladies, 9 OG, 14 Open, 9 Semi-Auto and 1 Young gun.
We had to wait till the last shot was sent down range as all the scores were ridiculously close! 10 impacts separated the top 15 shooters! After the tally marks came in, Zac Haarbrink took top overall and 1st in Open Division with 773.10 points, he didn’t do it easily because he was TIED with Adam Payton who scored 771.40 points for 2nd Open. 3rd Open and 4th overall is Casey Hughes, dropping only 4 shots the entire match with 742.271 points. 3 impacts separating 3 positions. That’s close!

Our Young Guns were limited this month and Nathan Marshall takes home 1st place gold. He scored a personal best of 391.874 points. Jodee Mathis finishes up this list with 1st place in the Adaptive Division with 540.00 points.
We had a ton of shooters all stay behind after the match and help gather props and targets which was a huge blessing on a super fun day. Thank you everyone who pitched in to help ease the burden of clean up. Thank you everyone also for coming out for the 2nd weekend in a row due to our Sundowner X match. It’s a lot of shooting in two full weekends, hopefully everyone had as much fun as I did. Our next match will return to our normal schedule of the 2nd Saturday of each month, so we hope to see you all on October 10th where we will do it all again!
