July 12th, 2025 Match Results
July is always a hot match, and we had some scorchers today! Some amazing scores and 10 new shooters tried to tackle this month’s fun COF. After the lead was sent down range, the best of the best rose to the top.
Dropping only 1 shot for the entire 8 stages is Owen Feldsted. Owen proudly takes first place overall and 1st place gold in the Old Guns division earning 892.9 points! Amazing shooting Owen. Second place silver goes to Carey Palmer with a 9th place finish overall and 832.0 points. Third place bronze gets picked up by Mark Miller who placed 13th overall with 770.5. Great shooting OG’s!
Only dropping 2 shots for the entire match is Jared Howell, just 1 shot behind Owen earning 1st place gold and 2nd overall in Open Division. Jared racked up 882.1 points, but it wasn’t easy! Also only dropping 2 shots for the match was Casey Huges who barely got edged out on the timed stage to earn 3rd place bronze and 3rd place overall. Casey scored 881.3 points, just 0.8 seconds behind Jared! 4 impacts behind those two is Chris Baxter, taking 4th place overall and 3rd place bronze with 842.5 points.
Stephanie Baxter was 1 shot behind her brother Chris for 5th place overall and 1st place in the Ladies Division! Stephanie earned 841.6 points. Joely Pratt had 2 impacts behind Stephanie for 2nd place silver with 820.5 points and Kaylyn Kingston comes home with 3rd place bronze with 763.2 points. Amazing job Ladies!
Troy Fuit represented our Air Rifle Division and placed 19th overall for 1st place gold! Mike Kofoed takes home 2nd place silver with 490.1 points.
We had 6 Young Guns battle it out and Teyl Peterson takes 1st place gold with 672.4 points. Just a couple of shots behind is Hudson Huges earning 633.9 points for 2nd place silver. Newcomer Cinch Peterson earns an amazing 400.0 points to grab up that 3rd place bronze!
We had new shooters fill up our Base Class this month and they all did an amazing job. David Wong really put it all together earning 516.7 points for 1st place gold in his 1st match! WTG David! Edison Corbo takes home 2nd place silver with 401.4 points and Dylan Proctor earns 370.0 points for 3rd place bronze! Awesome job to all our new Base Club shooters!
Another 1st place finish with another 1st time competitor is Brent Gottwalt who takes the gold in Semi Auto!
The match ran amazingly well, and I want to thank all our shooters who stepped up to help our new members have such a great experience. A special thanks goes out to Carey Palmer who spent a few weeks at the range cleaning up the bays and putting down the new gravel and smoothing out the parking lot! The range looked amazing, and it made for an enjoyable match for everyone. Thanks always to Owen, Carey, and all those that helped set up and take down the targets before and after the match. Your help is always appreciated and makes it so much easier to run these matches.
